No accounts, comment threads, advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

Likes: pressing the heart saves a random first-party cookie so this browser can remember and undo its like for up to a year. Clearing cookies or changing browsers can permit another like. This is not a verified person count.

Views: approximate article visits, recorded after eight continuously visible seconds. A random session receipt avoids counting reloads again in the same tab session. This is not a count of unique readers or proof that someone read the whole post.

Abuse prevention: the server uses a short-lived keyed hash of a network address to limit rapid requests. It does not store raw addresses in the blog database. Rate-limit records expire after an hour; view receipts are removed after 30 days.

The hosting provider may process request logs separately. External source links and sharing services have their own privacy practices.
